This is a lighter weight version of my classic honu pendant. A thinner profile and less overall depth than the original, but with the same honu characteristics.
The Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle is the only indigenous reptile in Hawaii, and is a symbol of wisdom, endurance, long life and good luck.
Years ago, I would park at the Hookipa lookout on Maui, set up my jewelry on a beach chair and enjoy the day as I chatted with locals and visitors, selling my pieces. Towards the late afternoon I'd watch the Honu as they migrated out of the water and up onto the shore to rest, their rows of domed shells forming a new landscape on the sand. They were a magnificent sight.
In honor of these revered creatures, I've created this pendant depicting a Honu as it swims. Entirely hand carved and cast in solid 18k yellow gold.
Keep the energy of the Honu close to you and be reminded of its incredible beauty and deep symbolism.
Alternatively, an 18" 18k solid gold cable chain, 1.5mm wide with lobster clasp can also be purchased for this item. It is available for an additional $1650.
Please select your pendant with or without chain from the options above.
Pendant measures approximately 7/8" wide by 3/4" long.
